We talked about his career, film influences, and the experience of adding a score to an establisehd silent film classic. This is a mini episode on the history of the Ernie Kovacs award and some information on Video Fest. This Year Kevin McDonald and Dave Foley (creators of Kids in the Hall) will be recipients of the award. I'm attending this event at the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson. In addition to the award they will also have a Q&A discussion Panel and a showing of their movie Brain Candy. I'll be doing a follow up episode on that event.
